The Altitude is a solid product and good performer out of the box. I easily shot sub-MOA with the rifle with factory ammunition and I’m in the process of working up my own load for the gun now. Although the trigger is very consistent with regard to weight of pull, it does have a bit of creep, hence the 4 out of 5 stars in the quality category. I also found that one of the stock screws had been treated with loc-tight at the factory, making the trigger guard/floor plate very difficult to remove to access the screw to adjust the pull weight on the trigger. I found this odd because the manual makes it clear that the trigger adjustment screw is for “your use”.

Always thought the name was just hype for the elite. Purchase one and you will need to own more calibers than you realize. Awesome product can’t wait to purchase my fifth rifle in 6.5-300. I swear by my Mark V 257 magnum.
